About me
Hi, I'm Veronika. I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Master's degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have experience working with individuals experiencing complex emotional and interpersonal challenges, supporting them in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.
In addition to my clinical work, I currently work as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor with UMO in Manchester, supporting university students whose mental health impacts their academic performance and daily functioning. This role has strengthened my ability to integrate therapeutic depth with structured, practical support.
My approach is rooted in humanistic and person-centred principles, placing strong emphasis on building a safe, non-judgemental, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I believe that feeling genuinely heard and understood is a key foundation for any meaningful therapeutic work.
Alongside this, my approach is also structured, solution-focused, and forward-thinking. I often incorporate elements of goal-setting and a coaching-style approach, supporting clients not only in exploring their internal experiences but also in making tangible progress in their day-to-day lives.
Depending on your individual needs, sessions may focus on managing anxiety and emotional overwhelm, improving focus and organisation, building healthier routines, or developing practical coping strategies. I adapt my approach to suit each client, whether you are seeking deeper reflective work or more direct, hands-on support.
My aim is for you to leave sessions feeling both supported and empowered, with a clearer sense of direction and practical tools you can apply outside of therapy. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, I offer a professional, calm, and supportive space where you feel both understood and guided, allowing for meaningful and lasting change.
