About me

Hi, I'm Tahseen. I'm a BACP accredited Integrative Trauma Psychotherapist and Counsellor with over six years of clinical experience supporting adults and couples. My approach is both evidence-based and deeply human, recognising that therapy is about cultivating greater self-awareness and empowerment.

I believe in creating a welcoming space for you to explore your inner experiences, challenge thoughts and behaviours that affect your life, and find the strength to navigate the challenges you may be facing. My therapeutic approach is tailored to your specific needs, whether you're coming to therapy alone or as a couple.

Sessions are centred on Person-Centred Therapy, which places unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity at the core of the therapeutic relationship. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed methods that acknowledge the connection between the nervous system, the body, and emotional experience. With couples, I draw on this same trauma-informed lens to help partners understand how past experiences and communication patterns shape the relationship in the present.

I have specialist training in EMDR and Brainspotting for clients processing distressing memories or past experiences. I also work with people affected by difficult relationships, including couples navigating conflict, trust, or disconnection, and with individuals exploring neurodivergence, providing understanding and validation for those who have spent years struggling to understand who they are.

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship or couples difficulties, trauma, life transitions, or struggles with self-esteem, I offer a grounded and responsive therapeutic presence that meets you where you are. I'm dedicated to fostering an environment of safety, respect, and empowerment as you navigate your challenges, individually or together, and move towards a life that fulfils you.
