About me

Hi, I'm Saima. I'm an MBACP accredited Integrative Therapist and qualified social worker with a deep understanding of how life's complexities can impact our mental health and emotional wellbeing. Over the past 13 years, I've worked across the NHS, social services, and charitable organisations, supporting people through a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma, and life transitions.

I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, which is why I prioritise creating a warm, trusting space where you feel truly heard. I'm naturally empathetic, patient, and committed to working collaboratively with you. I believe that everyone's journey is unique, and I feel genuinely privileged to walk alongside you during this part of yours.

My integrative approach draws on Humanistic, Person-Centred, Cognitive-Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Informed methods, amongst others. This flexibility allows me to tailor the therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit a particular model. Whether you're processing past experiences, navigating present challenges, or working towards future goals, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.

I have particular experience supporting people facing relationship concerns, betrayal, emotional and physical abuse, trauma, PTSD, narcissistic abuse, work-related stress, and late-stage ADHD. I also work with adult survivors of childhood trauma, parenting challenges, self-esteem issues, and career struggles. My background as a social worker gives me a holistic perspective on how various factors intersect to influence wellbeing.

From my own personal journey, I understand that life can sometimes be challenging and that reaching out for support takes courage. Please allow me the opportunity to understand your experience. I'm committed to supporting you in managing difficulties, processing trauma, and achieving your goals.
