About me

Hi, I’m Jayne. I am a qualified counsellor offering a warm, welcoming, and ethically grounded practice where you will always be met with empathy, care, and respect. I provide both short and long-term counselling, tailored to your unique needs, with a particular focus on working collaboratively so you can connect more fully with your authentic self. My practice is inclusive and anti-oppressive, ensuring clients feel safe to be themselves, truly heard, and understood.

I have over 4,700 clinical hours and more than ten years’ experience working with adults navigating a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and relationship difficulties. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, including those who identify with autistic or ADHD traits. Alongside this, I also specialise in supporting individuals recovering from narcissistic abuse, whether from a parent, partner, or other close relationship. This area of work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, and I understand how profoundly these dynamics can affect self-worth, boundaries, and emotional wellbeing.

My approach is integrative, drawing on therapeutic models such as CBT, person-centred counselling, psychodynamic therapy, Transactional Analysis, and schema therapy. Together, we will explore the past, understand how it shapes the present, and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence. Alongside counselling, I am also a qualified life coach and can integrate coaching techniques into sessions for those looking to set goals, boost motivation, or overcome barriers. Whether you are seeking support for a recent challenge or exploring longstanding patterns, I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion, authenticity, and a focus on lasting change.
