Background

Hi, I’m Leila. I offer therapy as a space where you can show up fully — even if that means showing up with confusion, sadness, or uncertainty. You don’t need to have the “right” words or know exactly what’s wrong. Together, we’ll create space for reflection, healing, and deeper self-understanding.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent several years supporting people in community and peer-led spaces, where I saw how often we’re expected to cope in silence. That experience deeply shaped my values around presence, gentleness, and making room for complexity.

I now work with adults facing grief, low mood, identity struggles, and periods of emotional or existential questioning. If you’re feeling disconnected — from yourself, your relationships, or your sense of purpose — we can begin exploring that, one conversation at a time.

My Approach

As a humanistic counsellor, I focus on your lived experience and how you relate to yourself and others. I won’t tell you who to be or how to feel — instead, I’ll walk alongside you as you explore your own meaning, needs, and inner voice.

My work is rooted in empathy, acceptance, and respect. We might gently explore your past, but we’ll also spend time connecting to how things feel in the here and now. I aim to make therapy feel human, hopeful, and collaborative — not clinical.
