About me

Hi, I'm Laura. I am a BACP registered counsellor with 2,000+ client hours accrued and a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I offer in-person counselling in Manchester city and online. I have worked with young people and adults since qualifying in private practice and across two national charities.

I am a person-centred counsellor, meaning that you are always at the centre of our work together. Our sessions will focus on your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I offer a warm, non-judgemental, and confidential environment where you can feel heard and understood.

Together, we will explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and identify any areas where you may feel stuck. I work with those experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, burnout, depression, family issues, low self-esteem, self-worth, self-harm, suicidal ideation, confidence, loneliness, identity, grief and loss, bereavement, relationship issues, and trauma.

I am passionate about normalising the process of seeking support and believe that asking for help can be a significant and positive first step towards change. As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My aim is to support you through self-discovery, helping you to find your own answers, feel empowered, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

You do not need to know where to begin. We can start there together. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling overwhelmed or uncertain, I'm here to walk alongside you and support you in moving towards greater wellbeing and understanding of yourself.
