Background
As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I am committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. My approach is collaborative, helping you gain deeper self-awareness and resilience through thoughtful questioning and reflection.
I support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including grief, relationship issues, childhood trauma, loneliness, anxiety, low self-esteem, job loss, and significant health diagnoses such as menopause, baby loss, and cancer. My practice is inclusive and welcomes individuals from all backgrounds
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for over two decades in the airline, hospitality, and tourism industries. This experience enriched my understanding of human relationships and the complexities of balancing personal and professional life.
My transition into therapy was driven by a deep curiosity about human behaviour and a passion for fostering personal growth.
My Approach
I use a blend of person-centred and pluralistic theories to ensure therapy is tailored to your unique needs. This integrative approach acknowledges the individuality of each person, allowing for flexibility and responsiveness in our sessions.
To enhance the therapeutic process, I integrate two-chair therapy alongside creative and expressive techniques, such as art-based methods. These are entirely optional and adapted to suit your preferences and comfort levels. My focus is always on developing a therapeutic relationship that fosters trust, connection, and meaningful personal growth.
I strongly believe that finding the right therapist is essential for therapy to be effective. My role is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.
