About Me
Hi, I’m Isabella May. I often ask clients: what might happen if we gave ourselves time to switch off, stop, and stand still? Life can be busy, complicated, and sometimes overwhelming. Therapy offers a rare chance to pause, reflect, and process what you’re going through without pressure or judgement.
I practise person-centred therapy, which is grounded in the belief that every individual has the potential to grow and heal when given the right conditions. In our sessions, you may find deeper reflection, greater self-expression, and relief in being able to talk openly. This isn’t about quick fixes or advice; instead, we’ll focus on creating sustainable, long-term change that feels authentic for you.
I have experience working with adults across different settings, including private practice, the third sector, NHS Talking Therapies, and employee assistance programmes (EAP). I’ve supported people facing a wide range of mental health concerns, from stress and anxiety through to chronic depression and historic trauma. In every context, my aim is to provide a safe, confidential space where you feel truly heard and supported.
