Background
I’m an experienced Humanistic Integrative Counsellor with a genuine interest for supporting individuals through life’s difficulties.
My journey began as a volunteer for a national charity, providing emotional support to individuals living with long term health conditions. I later worked with an LGBT organisation, where I gained invaluable insights into identity, gender, and the unique challenges faced by this community.
I believe therapy is a process that helps you accessing resources you already have that are essential to navigate life difficulties. Sometimes, life changes, new and past challenges or unfortunate events can prevent you accessing your inner strengths bringing a sense of hopelessness that can make you feel stuck and unable to get on with things. Together, we’ll explore what might be holding you back, whether it's anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or relationship struggles.
My aim is to create together an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings with a trained professional in a safe, supportive and confidential space. Therapy can feel daunting, but with the right support, it can also be a transformative journey toward a more confident and fulfilling life.
Taking a first step towards starting therapy can feel very daunting and I strongly believe that finding the right therapist is essential for your therapy to have a positive impact.
My Approach
My counselling approach is rooted in the humanistic integrative model, which means I tailor my methods to your unique needs and experiences.
I place you at the centre of the therapeutic process, offering empathy, genuine understanding, and active support throughout your journey. Together, we’ll uncover patterns and explore how past experiences might be influencing your current difficulties.
My aim is to help you build the emotional tools and self-awareness necessary to navigate life's complexities, foster meaningful relationships, and achieve personal growth.
Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming worries, persistent sadness, or relationship difficulties, we’ll work collaboratively to help you move forward with confidence.
