Background

Hi, I’m Corrina. I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover ways to thrive. I believe that with the right care and support, we all have the capacity to adapt, heal, and grow — even in the face of difficulties.

My specialisms include anxiety, self-esteem, low mood, and relationship challenges in all their forms. I often work with clients experiencing anxiety within relationships with partners, friends, or family members, as well as those managing work-related stress, feelings of isolation, or a general sense of being stuck. These struggles are part of being human, but therapy can help you find clarity and a way forward.

I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be heard. From our first sessions, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening for you and what you need to move forward. Sometimes this means looking back to understand the ‘why’, while at other times we focus on the ‘how’ of making changes. My role is to walk alongside you, offering warmth, honesty, and care throughout the process.

My Approach

I tailor my approach to the individual needs of each client, drawing on a range of therapeutic models. From a psychodynamic perspective, including Attachment Theory, we might explore how your past experiences have shaped your current patterns, beliefs, and relationships. This can help you understand yourself more deeply and create lasting change.

At other times, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, which provide practical tools for challenging unhelpful thinking, changing behaviour patterns, and building on your strengths. The balance between these approaches depends on your goals, your preferences, and what feels most helpful as our work develops.

I work with both short and long-term therapy, and I bring several years’ experience from my private practice and my role as a psychotherapist with Bupa. My style is professional yet down-to-earth, always aiming to make therapy feel accessible, collaborative, and meaningful.
