About me

Hi, I'm Sarah. Whatever your story, I'm here to listen. As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw on Person-centred, Transactional Analysis and CBT approaches to tailor therapy to your individual needs. Whether we meet face to face or online, every session is a space where you are heard, seen, supported and, when needed, gently challenged.

I believe therapy should feel inclusive, warm and refreshingly human. My style is natural and down to earth, and I'm unapologetic about bringing my whole self into the room. I want you to feel safe enough to explore who you truly are, free from judgement or expectation. The relationship we build together matters just as much as any other relationship in your life, past, present or future, and I take that seriously.

I'm passionate about supporting you to make positive changes in your life and relationships, whilst creating space for self-acceptance and personal growth. I often think of the therapeutic relationship like building a house: we need to lay a strong foundation before we can work on the structure of your life. I look forward to building with you. Let's walk through this together.

My experience includes working in private practice and managing a Counselling Service within an NHS GP surgery. Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked in Supply Chain and Procurement, which has given me insight into the pressures of workplace stress and the complexities of professional life. This varied background allows me to support clients presenting with anxiety, stress, trauma, loss, grief, depression, relational issues, attachment difficulties and many other concerns.

I'm also a registered Infertility Counsellor with BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association). I work with clients navigating male and female fertility issues, childlessness, miscarriage, baby loss and adoption. Fertility affects us in ways that go far beyond the physical, and the emotional burden can ripple into our day-to-day relationships, our sense of self and our working lives. If you're struggling with any aspect of this journey, I'm here to hold that space with you.
