About me

Hi, I’m Patrycja, a qualified person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My journey into counselling began with voluntary work at Age UK, supporting adults living with grief, anxiety, and depression. I now continue this work through my role with Trafford Carers, where I support people caring for loved ones during some of life’s most difficult times.

In my private practice, I work with adults from all walks of life, offering a calm and respectful space where you can explore your experiences without pressure or judgement. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and understood, so my focus is always on creating that foundation.

My approach is primarily person-centred, meaning we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. Alongside this, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, which can provide practical tools for managing unhelpful thoughts, patterns, and emotional overwhelm. Where person-centred therapy offers insight and deeper self-understanding, CBT can give you structure and strategies to use in daily life.

I won’t tell you what to do or offer quick fixes — instead, I see therapy as a collaboration. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting you to draw on your own values and strengths, and helping you find clarity, confidence, and resilience as you move forward.
